Accounts and age

You must be at least 16 to have a student account. Give accurate account information, use your own account and keep your sign-in details private. A parent or guardian must arrange tutoring for a student under 18.

Account access requires acceptance of these terms. The privacy policy explains how personal information is handled. Contact Amir promptly if you suspect someone else is using your account.

Learning tools and results

The website supports learning and tutoring. Questions, explanations and other learning resources are available only when the necessary content and permissions have been reviewed. A page or empty library does not promise that a particular resource is available.

Practice estimates, points and stickers are learning aids. They are not official SAT scores, grades or credentials, and stickers have no cash value. No particular score increase, test result, admission or scholarship is guaranteed. Results depend on many factors, including the student's work and circumstances. Report suspected content or grading errors to Amir.

Appropriate use

Use the portal for your own learning. Do not impersonate anyone, access another person's information, bypass access controls, manipulate grading or points, scrape protected content, distribute malware, harass others or use tutoring to cheat on a live examination or complete work dishonestly. Security concerns may be reported privately to Amir.

Your notes and third-party content

You retain your rights in notes and other content you provide. You permit Amir and the service providers operating the website to store, process and display that information as necessary to provide the portal, tutoring and support described in the privacy policy. This permission does not authorize public advertising use of your notes, identity or results.

Only provide material you are entitled to share. Website access does not transfer ownership of tutoring materials or grant permission to copy or redistribute third-party test questions, graphs, explanations, recordings or logos. Third-party owners retain their rights. Reports about copyright or other content concerns can be emailed to Amir with the page address and enough detail to identify the material.

Tutoring and booking

Tutoring sessions are currently free. An appointment is reserved once you receive confirmation. See the tutoring policy for scheduling and parent involvement.

Other services and affiliation

Google sign-in, Google Calendar and the Desmos calculator are separate services governed by their own terms and privacy practices. Availability can change. An external link or calculator does not mean its provider sponsors or endorses Amir Tutors.

SAT® is a trademark registered by the College Board, which is not affiliated with, and does not endorse, this website. References to educational institutions in Amir's biography describe his background and do not imply those institutions sponsor the service.

Access, corrections and account closure

Features may be unavailable during maintenance, while content is being reviewed or if a provider is unavailable. Reasonable steps will be taken to correct reported problems. Access may be restricted where reasonably necessary to protect students, secure the service or address a material breach of these terms. Contact Amir to ask about an access decision or to close your account.

Nothing in these terms excludes a right, remedy or liability that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.

Questions, changes and applicable law

For concerns or disputes, contact amirabusafieh@gmail.com so Amir can try to resolve them. Ohio law applies where permitted, without removing mandatory protections that apply where you live. These terms do not require arbitration or waive class-action rights.

Updated terms will be posted with a new date. Material account-term changes will be brought to users' attention and acceptance requested as appropriate.
